"Witnesses in Uniform" - Israel Air Force's memorial ceremony at Auschwitz

Each year, the Israel Air Force pays tribute to the Jewish people murdered by the Nazis, by way of a ceremony at the Auschwitz - Birkenau extermination camp in Poland. They point out that the Jewish armed-resistance fighters of WWII have evolved into a world-class army dedicated to protect the state of Jewish people.

In this 2007 ceremony, the Israel Air Force F-15 jets perform the "Missing Man" maneuver (after 3-minutes in video), traditionally symbolizing comrades-in-arms whose lives were sacrificed, made all-the-more poignant here in view of the millions of innocent, Jewish civilians murdered here for bearing connection to the G-d of Israel.
